I have never understood the - new - definition of 'left-wing' as being 'lying to children'. To me, 'left-wing' means 'not privatising the Utilities'. It has nothing to do with lying to children. Similarly, being Green means being concerned about anthropogenic global warming which promises to be irreversible and lethal to advanced life on Earth, and its connection with biodiversity and human overpopulation. 'Green' politics have nothing to do with mentally ill men who want to pretend to be women being allowed to serve their prison sentence - which they may have earned for sexual crimes - in a women's prison, because that is what they say is right for them. It looks like institutional capture to me. Or perhaps it's just an abuse of the English language.
