Carl and Callum, I am worried about advocating a complete absence of doubt in every case about gender identity, and never admitting a contradiction between physical and mental sexual identification. There are people who are transsexual. They are very rare. Think about April Ashley and Jan (formerly James) Morris. The development of physical sex in utero is complicated. The sex chromosome constitution is only the first of several switch mechanisms, and they can get out of synch in the developing fetus. All mammals start off as anatomical hermaphrodites, and usually one of these aspects falls away and becomes inactive, and the baby becomes clearly male or female. The same probably happens in the brain. The difference between the aforementioned people and present-day 'activists' is that the former would not have dreamed for one moment of attacking women in any way, getting them 'cancelled', etc. My point is, I think it would be a bad idea to ignore the complexities of sexual development and identity. You could be refuted on this. Stick to the Critical Race Theory, and the 'activists' attacks on women and female spaces and safety.
