  1. It sounds bad, but I can understand it in the context of children being brainwashed by religious extremists. Some of these 'schools' have been the religious equivalent of the Hitler Youth. They are perpetrated by certain immigrant communities, and have been factories of Terrorism. I wonder what the solution could be?

  2. It is a sinister move in conjuntion with the OFSTED now giving the lowest inspection rating to a school on the grounds that it is not teaching children about the wonders of 'Trans'.

  3. Local Education Authorities (LEAs) used to be in charge of the state-maintained schools in their area (the clue is in the name). It was a Conservative Government that centralized education in the 1980s (?). The LEAs were, to some extent, under democratic control.
