  1. The problem with a lot of these politicians is that they are wilfully blind to Islam. I understand that most people don't have the time to read the Qu'ran even in a Bowdlerised English translation, far less in the original. So they need to be led through it by an ex-Muslim who is able to explain the relevant passages and injunctions - remembering that Muslims regard this as divine revelation which must be obeyed *to the letter*. It is depressing to hear bigwigs of various genres blithely and ignorantly asserting that Islam and Christianity are comparable.
