As someone who I think had the virus in February 2020, and experienced a fairly mild illness for a fortnight - going everywhere as the fever and cough waxed and waned, and giving it to 8,000 people - I am not at all sanguine about people catching this virus. I am only now beginning to come out of Long Covid, a horrible and life-limiting illness, and its severity and duration does not appear to be correlated with the severity of the original viral illness. I am fully vaccinated, and would urge everyone to be. Do not risk getting Long Covid.
