SARS-CoV-2: when the genome of it was released on to the internet in February/March (?), 2020, Indian virologists, doing an immediate analysis of it, said there were four short sequences of nucleotides that they had only ever seen in HIV - although they identified the virus as being a corona virus from a horseshoe bat (probably from a cave in China). This made them suggest that the found virus had probably been tweaked.

  3. Michael Gove: there ought to have been a stock-pile of PPE ready and waiting for the advent of just such a virus. Why was it not there? Also, what about the planning exercise for a pandemic that took place in Britain in the autumn of 2019? It was assuming an influenza epidemic, but were there NO transferable applications to a corona virus?
