Re the erosion of free speech: recommended is Dr Jay Battacharya's lecture to MIT in April 2024, discussing his litigation sueing the American Federal Government for their breach of the First Amendment of the American Constitution. This refers to the directives given to the MSM and the electronic media (Google, Facebook etc) to censor any reportage, commentary or questioning of the 'received wisdom'. This extended to the 'cancelling' of anyone - lay or expert - who questioned Government policy.
