  1. I'm guessing the employees of the BBC just do not speak English properly. Perhaps for most of them it is not their first language. They literally do not know the difference between 'celebrated' and 'notorious'. I'm suggesting that employees of the BBC at every level should be proficient in English - this should be a requirement of employment.
