  1. Disgraceful. Yesterday, I had a great experience in London's Charing X Hospital A&E. This was YESTERDAY, 31 October 2023. Two days previously, I fell backwards and broke a bone in my wrist. In A&E, yesterday, I was registered, details taken, triaged, X-rayed, X-rays deciphered, and I was talked to by the radiologist who described in detail what had happened to my wrist, then he put it in a wrist splint, then gave me some codeine stronger than I could buy over the counter. That was me done, and mightily relieved. This was all on the NHS, and it took less than TWO HOURS in total. Five stars, Charing X Hospital! I have just had a phone call from them saying that the orthopaedic surgeon will check up on me next week.🙂
