  1. If alien pilots are biological organisms they will probably not be infallible. The only way to get round the Galaxy is to distort space-time. When you are coming out of this distortion, it may be risky and liable to go wrong. The witness of the UFO hovering above the British tritium-making facility at Chapelcross near the Solway Firth, south Scotland (1980, I think), said the object 'seemed to gradually materialise, rather than just arrive'. (The facility was out of commission for the next five days.) The Russians claim to have shot an alien craft down with an air-to-air missile, from which they managed to do some reverse engineering. I would be surprised if the Chinese had not done the same.
