  3. The gendered common nouns of French and many other languages are not 'male, and 'female'. 'La table' and 'le jardin' are FEMININE and MASCULINE. These are abstract grammatical terms that have no place outside a book of grammar. Common nouns which are not biological entities are NOT male or female. Tables and gardens do not have a sex. 'Gender' came to be used as a euphemism for 'sex' by Americans, who apparently found it more polite. This was the start of their brain-rot.
