  1. I can't see what is 'thorny', difficult or controversial about this at all. The terms 'gender', 'feminine' and 'masculine' have no place outside a book of grammar. Biological entities do not have a 'gender'. They have a sex, female or male. This is determined at conception and cannot be changed. The 'Trans' Religion/Industry is the product of Queer-Theory Activists, emanating from Judith Butler, Gayle Rubin et al. This is applied post-modernism which attempts to 'erase all binaries', so that there will be no difference between true and false, right and wrong, female and male, adult and child. Ponder this last one, for a moment, and wonder what the '+' might stand for in the ever-expanding alphabeti-spaghetti of the 'Trans' activists. Sport is important. But so is the safety of women in prisons, hospital wards (including psychiatric wards), rape-crisis centres and other spaces which should be exclusive to females. TRANS 'WOMEN' ARE MEN. Glib talk about 'trans-humanism' is premature to say the least. Some might have more damning words for it. 'Body modification might become the norm.' Oh, for goodness sake, learn some basic biology - GCSE should be enough.
