It's the 'trans' activists and practitioners who can't see beyond sexual stereotypes.
'Trans'-women - who are really biological men - are notable for dressing and presenting themselves to appear stereotypically 'feminine', according to the fashion of the time before feminist emancipation. Thus, there is always the nail varnish, the carefully applied full make-up, the high-heeled shoes, the long hair or wig, the very large breast implants - a cartoon image of a woman.
There is no acknowledgement of the fact that there is no one 'correct way' in which to be a woman. 'Butch' women are women - and not always Lesbians.
The same applies to 'trans' men.
The categorisation of humans into the rigid binary - which the Queer Theorists claim to deplore and wish to destroy - can confuse or even force people (adolescents and sometimes young adults) who are really homosexual into believing that being a 'butch' girl or a 'camp' boy can be 'transed' away by puberty-blockers, wrong-sex hormones and mutilating surgery.
Of course, the next step is to separate 'gender' roles, resulting in girls not being educated, and women not being in responsible, powerful or highly paid jobs.
Some British Victorians: 'Girls who read "difficult" books will render themselves sterile'.
