Public health in the USA has thrown away its trustworthiness. The same has happened in Britain. The reason is we had/have such substandard politicians, as well as spineless scientists/medics. A rare exception is, of course, Prof Sunetra Gupta of Oxford University (mentioned by Prof Battacharya) who was naturally completely marginalised.

Terfs don't physically attack or give death threats or dox children.

How can someone who presumably takes money on the grounds that she is 'a journalist' (!) say openly and without shame that she heard a theory and immediately dismissed it without further question or investigation? She should be stacking shelves.

Dr Battacharya is a hero.❤

I totally agree, except for one point: please don't use the conditional tense with 'if'.

It wasn't so much a question of them being wrong. It was a question of them CENSORSHIP other, well-founded opinions and conclusions. For example, lab-leak hypotheses, ivermectin, safety of new vaccines (testing?), efficacy of masks, advisability of economic lockdowns.

See Pentyrch (near Llantrisant, south Wales), 2016 - the account by eye-witness Cass Clarke. See also Chapelcross, near the Solway Firth, Scotland, 1980 (?). This is the facility producing tritium for Britain's H-bombs. It was put out of commission for about five days.

I think it is a bat virus originating in a bat cave in Yunan, the bat having been taken to the Wuhan Institute of Virology - as they were - for study of bat viruses. I believe the bat viruses were then subjected to 'gain of function' research - banned in most countries as being too potentially dangerous, and then the virus allowed to escape through gross negligence. Because the Chinese are obsessed with 'face' they felt they had to do their best to cover this up. Their food markets - ghastly as they are - had nothing to do with it.

If you are vaccinated you are not guaranteed to be totally protected against Covid, but you are much less likely, if you do catch it, to get seriously ill, require hospitalization, ventilation, intensive care and die. Getting Omicron variant induces natural immunity, which everyone must develop eventually. Btw, the flu is horrible.

Peter Daszach should be in prison. He is not a virologists. He is a zoologist.

I have never seen or heard anything resembling a UFO, but I can't just wave away the testimony of military and civilian pilots and air-traffic controllers. These are people who do not write letters in green ink or wear tinfoil on their heads. They are trained observers. An optimistic view of the phenomena: perhaps if intelligent beings reach the level of technological development that appears to be indicated, then they must also have a level of psychological and political maturity which would preclude their wanting to exterminate us - otherwise they would long ago have either blown themselves up or irrevocably destroyed their habitat. Perhaps they are just observing us, and will, sometime in the future, attempt communication when they judge us to be psychologically and politically mature enough. In any case, attempting to fend them off with our state-of-the-art weapons would be suicidal.

The minute that the Australians said near the beginning of 2020 that the World needed a completely independent and fully comprehensive enquiry as to how the Pandemic happened, the Chinese said, 'All right, we're not having your beef and we're putting a 200 per cent tariff on your wine'.

The gain-of-function research - outlawed by the American Congress - was funded in China by American taxpayers' money, through the National Institute of Health. This was against the will of Congress, who agreed that it was too dangerous a technique to be practised. See video of Dr Fauci being questioned on this in Congressional Committee.

School uniform should be mandatory for all schoolchildren and school students up to age 16. It should be voluntary after that age. There should be no badges, other than those connected to the school - indicating attainment of athletic standards, for example. There should be no indicators of political affiliation. There should be no jewellery, make-up or eccentric hairstyles. This would solve a lot of problems. I am talking about all schools.

Required reading: 'What really happened in Wuhan?' by Sharri Markson.

In, I think it was, April 2020, the British 'Mail on Sunday' had an article quoting one of the Deputy Directors of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, who had published an article in the Journal of Biosafety and Biosecurity in August 2019, in which he said, 'I am very worried. There are high-level labs (naming no names) that need experts and engineers in Biosafety and Biosecurity, and at the moment they have amateurs'. This leads me to support the gross-negligence hypothesis for the cause of this pandemic.

It's called falling into 'the ad-hominem' fallacy, i.e. looking at the person making the argument - 'Do I like him/her?', 'Is what she says usually rubbish?' 'Yes.' 'Then this must be rubbish too.' This is a well-known fallacy. Of course, there are also undeclared financial vested interests . . .
