  1. The Taliban did not 'retake' power in Afghanistan. They had it handed to them on a plate by Trump and Biden for parochial domestic political reasons. This reintroduced a Hell-on-Earth for women and girls, and restored the failed State and terrorist breeding-ground that was - and now is again - Afghanistan, as a danger to the whole World. After twenty years of effort by *NATO*, Americans please note, headway was being made. Progress was slow, as it was from a very low base. There had been no NATO losses for two years. How kong would the civilising of Afghanistan take? I'm guessing a hundred years of occupation, with the complete stopping of the manufacture of Taliban by Pakistan, and throwing them over the border into Afghanistan.😡
