  1. We already have Shariah - the British taxpayer subsidises polygamy among Muslims at the moment. We also have a de-facto Blasphemy Law (for Islam only). Also, look at the way law-breaking Muslims in Britain are treated, in comparison to the indigenous population. Many of the Muslim population of Britain want Britain to be a Dar el-Islam, ie part of the worldwide Islamic Caliphate, universally under Shariah law. At the moment it is still Dar el-Harb (a land of War, still to be conquered) - with 40,000 Muslim residents of Britain under surveillance by MI5. It is an injunction in the Qu'ran for every Muslim to do this. 'Islamophobia' -> Blasphemy law -> Shariah law.
