  1. Btw, Simon, I think Einstein's Relativity did not entirely replace Newtonian physics. Newton's Laws of Motion and his physics are used by engineers today as they describe the world we experience, ie the world of large objects and slow velocities (the world of cars, airplanes, footballs, shoes, etc). Newton's physics only stops working when you start describing what is happening at the subatomic scale, or very high velocities such as large fractions - say 30 percent - of the velocity of light. I have heard it said that Newton is a special case of Einstein.

  2. Kathleen Stock's speech in the Oxford Union was not about 'Trans' ideology. It was about freedom of speech and offence taken by people who disliked what was being expressed. A crowd of ignorant children - can they really be at University? It seems incredible - made exhibitions of themselves in an attempt to stop her argument being heard. If these are examples of the best brains in the country, we are doomed.
