  1. Starmer, in response to MP Tahir Ali's plea for a Blasphemy Law, said, 'Desecration of religious texts is AWFUL'. He did not define 'desecration' or 'religious text'. He then said that he would act against Islamophobia 'in all its forms' - whatever that means. It sounds like a very wide threat to me.
