  1. I'm sorry it's not 4,000 migrants. So far (12 September 2021) it is 9,000 migrants on dinghys, and counting. These are the illegal ones. Net, Britain is taking in, in addition, 330,000 legal immigrants per annum. We literally cannot accommodate them. We are due to take in more tens of thousands from Afghanistan (most of whom undoubtedly need our protection) - thank you Mr Trump and Mr Biden for this. We have an increasing homelessness problem in Britain for the people who are already here. We also have education and medical services which are creaking at the seams. I really don't know what people expect when they arrive in Britain. Putting a roof above one's head is a struggle and it gets worse every year.
