  1. Depressing. I wonder if he wrote that speech himself. Officially, as 'The Defender of the Faith', he is the Defender of Protestant Christianity. If he is so remote from the situation on the ground in Britain now and especially in the summer of 2024, he needs to get briefed by an honest informant, or not say anything.
