  1. That's not strictly correct - at least three journalists have been murdered: Jan Kuciak (and his fiancee), in Slovakia; Daphne Galizia in Malta; Victoria in Bulgaria. They were investigating corruption within the EU - in Kuciak's case the infiltration of the EU by the 'NDrangheta.
