  1.  @davidfaulkner4760  it was the then Chief Auditor, Mrs Martha Andreassen, who spent 10 years nagging them to put their accounts in order, as she could not in all conscience sign them off as there were so many irregularities and evidences of corruption. After 10 years she went public and was immediately sacked. Niel Kinnock (then an EU Commissioner) called her 'a hysterical woman'. That immediately told me she was on to something. She was born Spanish, married a Dane, and at that time anyway, lived in Britain. After being sacked from the EU, she joined UKIP, but left after a year because she thought it was sexist.
