  2. The cannabis that is available nowadays is very different from the stuff that was available when the Rolling Stones were first in the charts. The old stuff was organic, smuggled in from Afghanistan or Morocco, the current stuff is genetically modified, cultivated hydroponically in illegal cannabis farms (often by child slave labour trafficked into Britain). It contains twice, five times, even ten times the amount of THC (the psychoactive ingredient) of the old stuff. It is very dangerous.

  7. Re the pro-Hamas demonstrations in London on 21 October, 2023, on U-tube, I saw: two young men who showed a Saint George's Cross were prevented by the police from showing it. The policeman was gabbling something about 'preventing racism'. A young woman who was wearing a 'three lions' flag as a cloak was ushered away by the police. A person, dressed in black and masked, was brandishing a large ISIS flag and loudly shouting what sounded like a slogan (I do not speak Arabic). The police did nothing.

  25. You don't have to watch TV. Then you don't have to buy a licence. BBC Radio sometimes does excellent dramatisations of classic novels by, for example, Dickens or Toltstoy (you don't need guys in wet shirts climbing out of lakes), and more modern authors like Nicholas Montserrat (they did an excellent two-part dramatisation of his 'The Cruel Sea'). Radio 4 also sometimes does good features - I'm thinking of their comprehensive relation of the Post Office Scandal). Also, Radio 4 Extra has great old comedy shows like 'The Navy Lark', 'Take it from Here', 'The Goon Show'. But I never listen to News or opinion - so biased!

  47. Hilary Cass is controlled opposition to the 'Trans' Industry. She has baked the invasion of women's spaces, and the poisoning of psychologically unwell adolescents with wrong-sex hormones, and their mutilation with experimental surgery, into social acceptability and - very soon - the law. Cass uses the vocabulary of the 'Trans' Industry: 'gender' (no such thing outside a book of grammar); 'gender dysphoria' (no such thing - adolescents are depressed, anxious, suffer from PTSD, ADHD, autism, fear of being homosexual, abuse, bullying, etc). Being poisoned and mutilated to turn them into lifelong patients requiring complex (ie expensive) medication and probably repeated painful surgeries will do nothing to help their problems, which are psychological or psycho-social. Cass hints that there may be 'true' 'Trans' people, and that it will be productive to experiment on some adolescents to see the results. This is shocking. She also says nothing about the proposed new Department in London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital which, at a cost of millions to the taxpayer, will pretend to disturbed girls that they can be transformed into men (at the cost of the taxpayer) by some wrong-sex hormones and mutilating operations. 'Mutilation' is a word, by the way, that she explicitly refuses to use. Why? I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that the Cass Report is a piece of protective clothing for medics tovuse against the law-suits that are coming down the line.
