  1. Netanyahu is not trying to exterminate Hamas. That is not realistic. He is trying to disable Hamas to the extent that they will not be able to regroup and repeat the atrocity of 7 October 2023 - which their leader has publicly promised to do 'AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN'. To disable Hamas is to free the Palestinians.
