  1. There would be no curtailment of freedom of speech if these demonstrations were banned for the weekend of 11 and 12 November. They have not been banned for the past three weeks, and do not have the prospect of being banned subsequently. What price will be paid if the desecration of Armistice Day is prevented, and the demonstrators arrested for breaking the law? I suggest it would be nothing compared to the price that will have to be paid if the demands of a minority are allowed to destroy the rights of the majority.😡
