Call me FAAHR-LEFT - I have already been called FAAHR-RIGHT and a Nazi - but, 1 the price of the utilities keeps going up 2 the performance goes down (eg the condition of many of our rivers) 3 the salaries - and *bonuses*! - of the executives and CEOs of the privatised utilities routinely are well into seven figures. (I don't know who runs 'Thames Water' now - it was a Chinese hedge fund, then an Australian asset-stripper). To me, it is not a good look.
