  1. Phillipson has the backbone of an amoeba. Serious incident: (a) disobeying the teacher or being rude - this should be disciplined within the school. (b) causing persistent disruption in the classroom - throwing chairs, etc or physically attacking or endangering pupils or staff - this should be dealt with within the school and possibly also by calling in other agencies such as child psychiatrists, social workers, educational psychologists. Problem: these specialists are probably not available.
