Please note, Silvia: (a) Europe is not the EU. (b) wanting and expecting a delivery is not the same as having a proper, legal contract for it. In other words, the UK did, as they employed people who could read a contract. The EU did not, as the - unelected - European Commission, which forbade individual countries from ordering their own supplies, was too incompetent to do this. U von der Leyen flailed around blaming everyone in sight for the fact that she could not read a contract. Also, the UK - which escaped from the EU - invested as much into the AZ vaccine as the US did for the American vaccines. The UK made its firm, paid-for order with AZ three and a half months before the European Commission had stopped haggling with them about the price. Also, threatening to intercept goods which have been ordered and paid for, and prevent their delivery, is called theft in my dictionary - it has nothing to do with export/import. We just want our stuff to be delivered - it is not being exported to us as part of a trade deal.
Another great video you could make, Silvia: U von der Leyen's record as Germany's Defence Minister, and her 'bons mots' of the past three months - attempting to break International Treaties (see Article 16 in Northern Ireland debacle), threatening to seize the means of production and distribution without compensation, threatening to cancel patent law, threatening to cancel legal commercial contracts. Btw, the UK has vaccinated 46.5 per cent of the adult population with at least one dose (31.6 million first dose, 5.43 million second dose), figures from the London 'Times', 06 April 2021.
