  1. The effects of puberty-blockers which have been prescribed to block puberty at the normal age ARE NOT REVERSIBLE. Another lie which this person throws out is that 'only' 3 percent of people regret having 'transitioned'. This is not true. The number presenting as being a regretful detransitioner is more like 33 percent. There are probably more who are too embarrassed or scared to admit they are regretful. Puberty-blocking drugs prescribed for the medical treatment of precocious puberty - to regulate puberty to make it start at the normal age, otherwise the person's growth will be stunted - or to treat endometriosis, are correcting a medical disorder. Blocking - ie stopping - puberty from starting is inflicting damage on an existing healthy body.
