Everyone has the right not to be *libelled*. No-one has the right not to be offended or insulted. What I may consider an insult to me might be regarded as fair comment by everyone else. Btw, the same thing happened with a stage play - Bejti? - a few years ago. This depicted sexual abuse by a Sikh priest against a member of the congregation. The usual mobs, death threats to cast members, theatre owners and workers, and anyone who dared to be in the audience were the result, with the police giving not one iota of support. A few days after the play was pulled there was a newspaper report of a Hindu priest sexually abusing at least one member of his congregation in the temple.
