  3. The eventual verdict - on appeal - on Maya Forstater's case is not a victory for law or science. It exonerates Maya Forstater - and thank goodness it has - on the grounds that one has the right to hold a particular belief - in this case the belief that a man cannot be changed, by medical and surgical means, into a woman (and vice versa). This is not a belief. It is a scientific fact. It is not a matter over which a court of law should be presiding. The existence of a Supreme Court is not consistent with English or Scottish Law. It should not exist.
