  1. Thank heavens I don't have TV. I really resent Hollywood - and therefore Americans - taking their fictionalised versions of history as fact, through ignorance. You see this in many films, eg the implication that Americans were responsible for finding the Enigma machine and cracking the code in Operation Ultra - forget Bletchley Park, also the rescue of works of art in the Second World War, etc. Fiction being presented to me as fact is my definition of lies.
