  1. Amazingly comprehensive and knowledgeable exposition. Thanks! It demonstrates that no amount of engineering design or well-thought-out procedures can defeat invincible human neurosis and stupidity. The revelation about 40 per cent of PIA pilots having fake licences is truly shocking!

  2. It's so mad, and so sad. Those poor passengers! Their poor bereaved families and friends! I agree, more searching is needed.

  3. Mentour Pilot is not speaking English as his first language - although he does speak excellent English - and he is applying the rule of stressing the second syllable in a polysyllabic word. BUT, English has many exceptions to its rules, and this rule is often broken (telephone, for example).
