  2. Oh come on, spread sheets have been around long since before Microsoft, even before MSDOS. As it is VisiCalc, released on October 17, 1979, for the Apple II computer, is considered the first. So blame Steve Jobs. 😝

  3. Spreadsheets can help make things easier. Automating even basic math can make things great, especially if you have to keep track of multiple events and certain metrics. Unless you would rather take all the data and have to do the math manually. I'd personally find that highly tedious, and far more horrible than having to set up a spreadsheet.
