Comments by "John Crawford" (@JohnCrawford1979) on "Meet Some Of The Last Papyrus Makers In Egypt Keeping A 5,000-Year-Old Craft Alive | Still Standing" video.
Seriously. For between $3 and $30 a piece, I'd love to have at least one piece of hand crafted artistry. Would even pay extra for personalized sayings or messages written with Hieroglyphs.

They now have international exposure. Not to mention being 24/7 on YouTube. Huge opportunity for a business boom that could probably help save their business. Supply is low because there is no demand. Raise the demand and the supply can and will rise to meet the demand. Capitalism 101. These people were elevated by it in the 70's, and it saved papyrus from going extinct. That can happen again on a global scale, if they are willing to take the opportunity they're getting by being highlighted in this video.

@undeadarmy19 - There are people that bind their own books. Unfortunately, it's so niche that it's treated more like an arts and crafts sort of thing where they're not necessarily inexpensive, but they aren't expensive either. So, somewhere between $20 - $50, depending on the type of book and materials used. Street vendors can be more like $5 - $15, but st that point, you're talking about the starving artist more interested in making enough for their next meal than a business man trying to keep their lights on.

@dianakarol1134 - Indeed. The very least Insider could do is basic contact info. They had to get that themselves to make the interviews and spotlight possible. I get not wanting to doxx them, but at the same time, it's almost like exploiting their troubles to tease a spotlight and do little else to help them expand their business so they don't have to remain in a terminal condition.

@cchavezjr7 - There's also this thing called a description box where you can add more information about the subject of the video, and guess what? Because people said something, Insider has responded and added an Instagram link for the artist, and a lin tree for more contact information. I wish I looked closer before commenting, but still glad comments were open and listened to in order to make a needed change.
