I love your balance between humor and humanity.

I remember the "cow" mix up from a few episodes ago, I guess I am retaining some this after all.

"Big in Japan" is a song by Tom Waits, but it has nothing to do with weight. I know this isn't always the case but, they seemed more curious than cruel.
38
She's cute, "I didn't understand a word you said." I don't know anything about the other guy from the Netherlands but you sure didn't seem intimidated by his performance. Good show you killed it.
22
Like your friend said in the last video, he felt better when people stopped pointing it out and just accepted him as one them. 09:07 That just gave me a flashback to the "Patty Hype" episode of Spongebob...
16
I haven't seen someone cooking at a public place with a cigarette hanging out of their mouth since a bar in Detroit.
14
"2 blondes walk into a bar speaking fluent Japanese." You know where I'm going with that. I love the concept of the public piano
12
It's amazing what can happen when people actually speak to one another, instead of talking past each other. Keep up the great work ❤From Detroit as always

You're not a YouTuber, you're a Humanitarian. And free lesson for everyone, don't mess with a girl from Detroit.
8
00:30 I literally wanted to grab you out of the way. Slow down dude.
6
9:50 That could really send a first date in the wrong direction..
5
I'm fairly certain it's someones or some bots purpose to go around trolling and disliking everything 24/7. It's the only explanation.
5
I was worried about you after not seeing anything new for a while, now I see those concerns were justified. Earthquakes, blowfish and killer French fry pigeons. Kampai 🍷
5
This guy is a doorknob, sorry.
4
Alright, hadn't seen any uploads in months and was actually worried. Merīkurisumasu from Michigan, it was a wet not white one.🎄 P.S. WTF? 11:51 👀

If their livelihood is a lie it needs to be called out. Edit: You are the most legit that I have ever seen and originally, I didn't get into language channels but your modesty sold me considering how amazing you are at what you do. Also a thought as far as technicality goes with the natives...I as an American, wouldn't necessarily want to discuss the meaning of life with a foreigner on the street just because they learned how.
4
That honestly was the cutest moment. Encouraging the Chinese woman who has been living in Japan for the same amount of time you lived in China to learn a little. Get out and mingle lady, you called her out politely. Woops X 2 Didn't know that was going to happen again!
4
I honestly feel you strike a perfect balance. Some people only focus on one shock value aspect. Love from Detroit as always, you know me by now.
3
The intro is perfect when it comes to the idea of learning new language, not just words. He didn't understand what she said, but he heard the tone. It could be a mannerism or gesture that translates. The more we get to know each other the better everything for everyone will be. "People fear what they don't understand." X-Men taught me that as a child. Learn don't fear. P.S. I LOVE the Home Improvement! That was one show we watched together as a family đź’™ As always from Detroit

“There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, click bait me once, shame on — shame on you. click bait me twice — you can't get click baited again.” -George W. Bushish
3
He doesn't feel sorry for himself, why should you? Own yourself screw everyone else.
3
After watching the scuba segment I have to give your boyfriend a nickname...shark bait. It was cute. (yes Nemo)
2
We need to sanitize our minds....and I love that I recognize your Chinese friend now. The vendor on the street, I should clarify. (Before you did the flashback)
2
That doorbell, I'm sorry that was NOT what I was expecting. Chuck is awesome. P.S. did you hear Wisconsin tried to claim itself as the "mitten state?" Really?
2
I can't imagine who or why or what they can be trolling you about..you're knowledgeable, authentic and likable. Do they have something against westerners learning their culture? Everyone I see interact with you is surprised and pleased. I wouldn't even attempt to crawl into septic minds.
2
Katie, I don't blame you for leaning Japanese at this moment.
2
Yes, I absolutely notice, on a microcosmic awareness level you don't even say "hell." But I know that's not what you're referring to. Godspeed
2
04:48 I THINK Anming is trying to tell us she's a badass. Agreed my friend
2
Thrift stores are the best by the way, you never know what you're going to find. Or even what you're looking for some times, but you know it when you see it.
2
Shattering stereotypes is part of the reason I love taking these little trips with you. They see a white blond girl and assume "tourist." Not just that, plenty of people use that shock value approach. I can't put my finger on it. It will come to me eventually.
2
Reminds me of making pierogi's with an ex last Christmas..
2
4:20 Indiana Jones didn't have a flash light, you got this.
2
Kzoo is a fun town, Bells is great. St. Clair Shores here.
1
They still have Tower Records in Japan? Lucky. I just realized I referred to you once in conversation as my "youtube friend in Japan." You're one of the coolest girls in Japan, does that count?
1
They don't mention that in the Irish Spring commercials
1
It's the People Mover! 04:56. And you thought you were getting away from Detroit
1
@OrientalPearl You weren't on it after Red Wings games heading to the Casino that you didn't plan on doing. Because your friends talked you into it.
1
There was a place in Birmingham we used to go to called Cranbrook. We'd get really high and sneak in, explore the woods, and they had a beautiful Oriental garden. So peaceful.
1
@OrientalPearl We didn't realize it was a school. Actually one time we were hopping over the wall to leave and somehow we had gotten passed security. We were "pulled over" as we were smoking and George W. Bush's motorcade went by. Hundreds of cops rolled passed us and he didn't even care that he obviously smelled it, pretty funny.
1
I used to work for Sargent Appliance and delivered refrigerators and everything in Detroit sometimes, we have thick skin. Ironically they were more grateful and sweet than the rich customers in Birmingham etc.
1
@OrientalPearl Oh ok, probably right then. My ex worked at a building in Campus Martius. The area is improving!
1
Ni Hao Meili....I cheated, but hope you are well and keep the good energy coming.
1
Really really
1
@OrientalPearl I still don't think we have accents! lol
1
Have you been to the Aokigahara Forest? Sorry, I know that's a dark question.
1
@OrientalPearl I don't know what that is....perhaps I've seen it and don't recognize the name. Is that the one where he finds peoples cars left behind and tents...?
1
Hmm...good call. We'll figure something out. Walkabout?
1
@chrik25 Well, being from the U.S. I don't say "Wow, your English is great" to an Asian looking person assuming they must not speak it. Kind of the same thing right?
1
 @chrik25 Sure, good things.
1
You almost gave the old man whiplash (the first one).
