  1. Every musician is influenced my something they've heard (Don't Beethoven me). I've at times caught myself with a new song or melody, then it occurs to me "Wait a minute". It's subconscious sometimes.

  3. There is some video of the formulas for writing a pop hit that is really alarming. Speaking to how dumbed down music has become, to the masses I mean. There is still a lot going on underground. Technology has threatened and empowered actual musicianship. Godspeed.
