Whenever you're having a bad day...Remember you didn't have a Chuikov bad day...

The premise of Hitler being able to just "end the war" because he was losing at his time of choosing is a misnomer as a concept. Stalin wouldn't have just said, "Oh, alright we're cool" the same for Churchill and Roosevelt. Exactly why they demanded an unconditional surrender.

It's a shame that introduction was even necessary. The "Ready! Fire! Aim!" approach of so many people.
32
You're the only YouTuber that I have ever heard use the term "Bibliography." It's appreciated. Hitler literally said what he wanted to do, to ignore someone when they do so is incredibly dangerous and the world found that out the hard way. This "Elon Musk" thought themselves into a corner, a lot of words but not a lot of actual thought or perspective.
21
It's so perplexing because elements of all of these theories can be somewhat true. Stalin himself was an avid reader of Mein Kampf, thank you for mentioning the timing. Uncle Joe thought he had a few more years and not before Britain surrendered.

He would have had to go through Tofurkey

All that's missing is the "You Are Here" icon ➡ x 👀

Oh stop, you weren't going to do anything 😉

Hitler seems to understand Democracy more than Trump.

This is depth even Mark Felton doesn't dive to...Time Ghost comes close

When TIK does his Hitler accent, the World listens.

Brilliant, my first time with you and thank you for saying so many things I've thought as a student of WW2 history for many years now. "It's a riddle wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. But perhaps there is a key" Winston Churchill said, although it was about Russia it applies to the Germans. I believe you found the key.
5
Both can be true. The logistics of regrouping the Panzers and consolidating while also showing a sign of half-mercy to the British. Maybe even as a cover to have some later reconciliation.
5
It was deliberate before it became an accident..."bombers remorse?"

"The Welfare State is the oldest con game in the World. First you take people's money away quietly. Then you give some of it back flamboyantly." -Thomas Sowell Now where did I see that...
3
Just when I thought I had seen it all...Hitler drops the "N" Bomb. Und ich nicht bedeuten "Nazi..." 15:47 👀

"The enemy of your enemy is your friend"
3
Hitler was a historic hypocrite. Falls in line.
2
"There is no 'I' in 'TEAM." But...there literally is "Me." The imagination is a beautiful and horrifying thing.
2
Who knew "The Hunt For Red October" began in Stalingrad? Then Vasily Zaytsev, armed with a sniper rifle and British accent saved the day.
2
Captain Swear Word, a legend...move over Rommel.

@davidtuttle7556 1st cousin 2nd removed.

I mean...Hitler sort of baked it into the name...
2
"Put Captain YouTube censorship in his place" Priceless.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” -Joe Goebbels

"Watch your Steppe," Herr Hitler 👀

Caught between a Reich and a hard place...

People will never cease to play RISK Monday Morning Quarterback. If only my teachers taught math in this context in Elementary School...Get Well Soon TIK

Stick to what you want to do.

How many times do you repeat this on every video? It's funny but come on

Panther... Tiger... King Tiger... Jagdpanther... Und...und...Maus -A. Hitler
1
Perception of War is reality...Also, Hitler wrote of how powerful the U.S. could potentially be in Mein Kampf so...interpret his logic or wisdom in this. His hand was forced as he forced the hands of the Allies.

Turn on the news, that's why you bother learning History. Period.

I still wonder what the point of succeeding would be in the overall grand scheme.

"The only thing that ever really frightened me during the War was the U-boat peril'. -Winston Churchill

Thanks for not sticking with tanks, these oxymoron's have confused and bothered me since I was a kid, now I know why.

They were at Normandy...

14:00 Ironically, Hitler waited until the last imports of oil and wheat from the Russians came by rail before launching Barbarossa. A dick move some historians would say.
1
198K vs 31...who could be more credible? I'll give you a moment. TIK...tock...TIK...tock...⏲ I believe the his main argument is "Roight?"
1
Is this an elaborate case of victim blaming? Edit: If you sign a Non-Aggression pact with Hitler...get ready to fight for your very existence.

The Tiger was a Sherman and T-34 killer. But the Pershing was a King Tiger Killer. The Italians should have stuck with pasta. P.S. The Germans had the first guided missile, the Allies had a bomb guided by a pigeon. I don't know who wins that for creativity.

She was prejudice in her view of racism.

So Hitler did have his eyes on South America...04:43

I love this. People will complain about the expense of a bridge they will use without blinking a blind eye. ⩜⃝

You need to take care of #1 TIK...We'll be here when you get back.
1
The Germans were caught between a Russki and a hard place.
1
Enemy At the Gates tried and had its qualities but...Jude Law's full blown British accent by the end of the film killed it for me.
1
High Hitler. One of the most dangerous things we can do is to dehumanize, whether they were heroes or villains, it's dismissive of the facts .
1
The only way to get this right is to count the ghosts...
