  7. No steel melted, only weakened & the temperatures reached in standard office fires are hot enough to reduce the strength of steel by 50%. The steel was under immense load, far greater than it was designed to withstand, it's a miracle they remained standing as long as they did. The collapse of building 7 was also far from "perfect". You're basing this on the view of the more rigid facade of the building we see in the footage, but the structure internally was collapsing in ax highly asymmetric manner. The facade actually became detached from the structure.

  9. ​ @moek28 Wtc7 was not 1 mile away, nowhere near. Many tons of debris from the collapsing North tower landed on Wtc7 which caused immense structural damage & fires across many floors. The fire department decided a collapse was inevitable so pulled everyone away to a safe collapse zone they had defined & waited for it to fall. They made no attempt to extinguish the fires, they allowed them to freeburn which they did for 2hrs (if I remember right) beyond what its fire-proofing was rated at. There is no mystery surrounding this, it was predicted by the fire fighters hours before it fell.
