From what I read Europe was far from being clean back in that time

hope your having a great day last time I checked there isn’t a lot of water in the desert. And I believe the left hand is considered unclean because of wiping their rear end. Went to school with Muslims, their body odor was horrendous. FYI this is a conversation not a confrontation so if you are looking for that, go elsewhere. BtW I was a Muslim for a short time while in the army.

hope your having a great day no water to wash their hands? I doubt it

hope your having a great day I use toilet paper and wash my hands and can therefore not consider either one “ unclean “.

@terywetherlow7970 gotta admit the whole bidet thing intrigues me. Can’t imagine how it can clean well if one has a constipated poop. And everyone talks about water shortages and bidets use water in addition to toilets ( still needed ) . Not against them as many use them happily

hope your having a great day pretty sure bidets aren’t that common in the Mideast

@emoguy666hotmailc no hate whatsoever. Just stating that humanity around the world had / has periods of unsanitary lifestyles

Off the subject but I have read where native Americans in the US were amazed at how filthy early white settlers were

@norte8318 the moors brought science and math to southern Europe if I remember correctly. But not sure how you think they were betrayed .

@Firefly13114 there are numerous articles, shows, etc which talk about life in Europe over hundreds of years and how it evolved ( the human condition). The Thames river used to be one big sewage ditch in the Middle Ages before people realized the sickness and death which such practices created. No place on earth was left out of this learning curve I would imagine.
