  2. Had a friend join the navy as a corpsman to avoid combat. He failed to realize where the marines got their “ docs” from 😂

  6. Unfortunately medial advancements have made these injuries survivable. I say unfortunately as many are living but not a quality of life imo. Both times I was wounded I checked to see if all my body parts were there as I knew I wasn’t about to come home missing parts.
