@jimjones9949 those refineries weren’t reopened ( or were repurposed ) due to Biden’s active war to destroy the fossil fuel industry. Why invest in refinery upgrades etc if your leaders want to destroy your business. They can sell all they currently can refine at inflated prices. Of course we won’t discuss the fact that the Biden regime raised the royalty charged oil companies by 50% ( poor timing there) and he cut back on oil leases more than any recent president every. The Russian issue is of course a partial reason but domestically we had the capability to produce more if the green idiots in charge had a clue ,which they don’t.

After Biden told the oil industry he was going to destroy them ,they shut down, repurposed many refineries. If it can’t be refined ,drilling does little. Oh how I hate Dems
