  5. @ thousands of dogs would die annually in high kill shelters with an attitude like that. There are hundreds of pilots every year who deliver dogs ( and cats) safely to better rescue sites. I have numerous pilot friends who damn near do it week.

  7. @ the deficit was caused primarily by the Covid relief bill of over 5 trillion dollars voted by both parties. And the loss of federal revenue because millions of businesses closed because dem governors feared Covid EXCEPT for the big box stores.

  8. I love our VA system here in the Mn metro area, but the one phone number for literally everything is maddening. Like you I many times drive to our local clinic for an appointment. Luckily it’s not that far. Other than that the service I get is excellent. My pet peeve are vets who think because they served they get cradle to grave medical care. They do get care but it is based on priority levels such as percentages of disability by vet. Those who screwed around all their lives, and are now old without planning for old age are now desperate for taxpayer support. And yet the VA will still give them care. Unfortunately not all VA centers give the same level of care

  10. I know two high level Mn DOT workers who moved to Florida and allegedly work from home 75% of the time . What is ironic is they are both far left liberals but moved to Florida to avoid high Mn taxes
