@buschacha checking boxes has been around longer than even Clinton ,but Clinton, Obama and Biden added additional checkmarks. The upper level ranks have been stained by “ politics “and favoritism for decades.

@buschacha 100 yrs ago the MOH didn’t have the same requirements apparently as it does today. You are free to feel your way about the issue as I am. My CO from Vietnam was in the awards dept at the pentagon when Grenada was going down.He refused numerous awards for upper level officers who weren’t even on the ground there. As a result of his integrity he was never promoted to full colonel. Have a great day
