@caro350 plastic and glass is not recycled as you may think. There is very little end use product for it. Here in the Mpls area where I live a friend of mine who owns 3 trucking companies hauls 2 semi loads a day from the “ recycling “ plant to the landfill because they can’t get rid of it. Only about 7 % of plastic ever gets recycled. Eve aluminum cans only get recycled at about 65% which is sad as they all have an additional life, Do some serious research. @caro350 just a few tires out of billions are recycled even though they can be shredded and burned cleanly in power plants

@bizzirker great thought and I actually looked that up. India has about 60k roads with plastic mix. And many other countries do as well. But apparently the big concern is “ micro plastics “ being released in the environment from the wear. We are damned if we do and damned if we don’t. Plastics have made all our lives better but again at the expense of the environment
