@Kozinskowitzky and as I pointed out one has to look at all the taxes to determine which ones affect them and at what level. Pretty sure SD doesn’t hand out taxpayer money as freely as Mn ( where I live ) does. That adds cost. Mn just added a 50 cent charge to any delivery 100 dollars or over to help pay for the loss in road taxes due to EVs,the same vehicles they are trying to shove down our throats. It never occurred to them to tax EV owners for that probably because EV owners tend to be liberal. You can’t make this crap up.

@Kozinskowitzky and no income tax. I know liberals who have moved out of high tax Mn to SD to save money. Can’t get more hypocritical than that. When talking taxes you have to include all taxation as every state operates on revenue. Always amazes me when people move to a state with no income tax as if that is the only tax to contend with. One has to look at all the tax structures and determine which ones benefit or affect them. Mn Dems where I live have never found a tax they didn’t absolutely love. They use California as a blueprint for their stupidity. Had a 18 billion dollar surplus. They spent it on pet social programs and then added 8 -9 billion more in taxes from an already overtaxed citizenry
