While the numbers you cherry picked are pretty close to factual,what you missed was whites make up about 60% ( depending on what site you use ) of the population and blacks make up about 15% of the population so it makes sense whites are using welfare in larger numbers ( pure numbers) . As a percentage of each individual population base blacks still use it more and since they have larger families the outlay is going to be more. As to Medicaid if 40% of whites are using it against a population of 60% compared to 15% statistically blacks would be as large if not larger user of the system. Prior to the great society ( 64) blacks had a slightly higher rate of marriage than whites ,after 64 that took a nosedive as at home fathers weren’t as necessary . Now I will fully agree with you on the issue of single parents that still stay in the home etc: as there are still those fathers who stick around,married or not. As to me being a racist the word has become meaningless over the years as it is used to get everything people want. I only have been pointing out some of these issue’s because I get tired of the “ victim” mentality you are allowed to perpetuate. Many of my life’s mentors have been black and just fabulous people,but not living with the victim mentality. Enjoy your day.
