  2.  @AnnaAnnieAnneofGreenGables  I’m a pilot and hardly rich. Many pilots just like the guy here who died belong to a flight club where they share costs to make it affordable. Do you call some black guy rich just because he drives a Lexus, BMW, Audi.Mercedes or Escalade - all vehicles when new are pretty much the same cost as a used airplane. People buy bass boats and Pick up trucks to pull them - both similar in cost to a used aircraft- are they therefore rich. People buy RVs - many similar in cost to used aircraft,are they rich . It’s about what you enjoy and how you spend your money. Do I know rich pilots - of course ,but their planes are truly expensive unlike mine I bought for 58k.

  3.  @AnnaAnnieAnneofGreenGables  you obviously missed my whole point how it is not an upper class thing but affordable to responsible middle class types. My airplane mechanic owns two planes he bought which were in bad shape and over 5 yrs for each he slowly restored both. And he makes less than a govt worker . Just because aviation isn’t your thing or way past your ability to achieve such skill level don’t assume it’s a rich man’s game. Ignorance is pushing your agenda sadly
