Its strange how no one says anything about animal euthanasia but when its human euthanasia, it becomes controversial. Dying with dignity has such an awful stigma and its incomprehensible as to why. The only US state that has assisted euthanasia is Oregon. Canada has something similar called M.A.I.D. (medical assistance in dying) and Switzerland also has legal assisted euthanasia. Some people are tired and sometimes it is a case where nothing works. Its called treatment-resistant severe depression and to my understanding, it's crippling. It wouldn't be fair to ask someone to continue living in pain. Its not fair to judge people in that situation either. Its that person's decision (*as it should be*) which should be respected. Agreed to disagree.
