With all due respect I've done my research on this case, read many pieces of information available. She clearly had a strong motive to unalive Eric. The information on the internet is from different sources and that's how I came to my opinion. We all have our opinion so your comment is in itself judgemental. The victim Eric and the children are the only ones I have empathy for. Kind regards to you.

@Sweet2-y7d I can't answer that, but he did. I don't think he actually believed that she would do it. Let his guard down. It's hard to make sense of.

Eric may have had cognitive dissonance that can include being forced to comply with something against their beliefs, having to decide between different choices, and having to put effort into the goal. Seems to me he didn't want to leave the family home/ children and still loved his wife. Misplaced trust for sure. So sad 😢
